Who would've thought?

Shockingly, it seems we're all still here. Apart from anyone who may have died of natural causes, war, disease, bad luck or some other unforseen circumstance. But for most of us, the Rapture passed on by.

Who could possibly have guessed that would happen? Apart from just about everyone.

Haven't Googled it yet but I'm looking forward to seeing how Mr Camping explains this one. It's my bet it'll be along the lines of, "God is infallible. Unfortunately, man isn't."

Which is now going to be my default excuse for everything. Try it. I think you'll like it.

He ought to say it was a practical joke. "Had you worried!" he could say with a cheeky grin om his face.

The best comment came from New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg: "If the Armageddon arrives on Saturday, alternate side of the street parking will be suspended."

I, for one, am very relieved. I don't like the idea of moving without first checking out the new neighborhood.

I was kind of looking forward to it. I think I would have been in good company.

GB: another good default position. I'm going to use it more often methinks.

UB: Another good one: 'if wet, the Rapture will be held in the town hall.'

Bruce: can you imagine? You might have to share with Bush the younger.

V: yeah, you, me and Lola could've actually finally hung out together. I wonder if that will ever happen?
